Today we were discussing World hunger and the causes of hunger in various areas around the globe.  This is an all-English class, but the students were working hard and using English as much as possible.  During the last part of the class students worked together in small groups to find possible solutions and helped each other with the good points/bad points of the solutions using the Socratic method.

今日は世界の飢餓と、世界各地における飢餓の原因について話し合いました。授業はすべて英語で行われますが、生徒たちは一生懸命に英語を使って取り組んでいました。授業の最後の部分では、生徒たちは少人数のグループに分かれて、ソクラテス式学習法を用いて解決策の長所と短所を互いに指摘し合い、助け合いました。
